HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN REAL ESTATE?

Over three years in the industry.

WHERE DID YOU START?

I started in a sales role straight out of high school, at 18.

IS IT YOUR DREAM JOB?

Absolutely. I feel incredibly fortunate to be doing something I love, surrounded by amazing people who inspire and support me every day—right here in the most beautiful place in the world.

BEST CAREER EXPERIENCE SO FAR?

Working in Palm Beach real estate means selling prestigious waterfront properties to affluent clients, enjoying substantial commissions on record deals, marketing architectural gems with stunning views, and building valuable relationships - all while working in one of Sydney’s most beautiful coastal environments.

WORST CAREER EXPERIENCE?

Walking through a property with a valuer after it had sold and running face-first into a huge spiderweb—complete with a massive spider. I lost a shoe and fell backwards into a bush. Definitely one to remember!

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT REAL ESTATE DURING YOUR CAREER?

That positivity and problem-solving are essential. We may sell homes, but our real product is trust and consistency. Organisation and responsiveness are key, and really understanding your clients requires active listening and staying across the market.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT YOURSELF?

That I thrive under pressure and genuinely love helping people through big life transitions. I’ve become more resilient, and I love finding creative solutions to complex problems. I’m naturally detail-oriented and driven, and I work best when I’m helping others succeed.

HOW HAVE WOMEN’S ROLES IN REAL ESTATE CHANGED SINCE YOU STARTED?

Women in real estate have come a long way. It’s become far more common to see strong, capable women leading in this industry. Being surrounded by talented women has been so inspiring and has played a big part in my personal growth.

IT’S BEEN A CHALLENGING YEAR—DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS?

Your attitude is everything—positivity is contagious. Be honest with your clients, even when the news is tough. Lean on your colleagues and stay consistent with follow-ups—some of my best referrals have come during slower periods. Also, don’t forget to prioritise self-care and boundaries; it really does boost productivity.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE RECEIVED?

“Be authentic—there are too many people trying to be real estate agents instead of just being human.”

ANY CAREER REGRETS?

None—I’ve learnt something from every step of the journey.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO WOMEN WANTING TO GET INTO REAL ESTATE?

Definitely go for it! “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” Work hard, develop thick skin, stay curious, and grow every day. Be yourself—that’s your biggest asset.

ANY FASHION OR BEAUTY TIPS YOU’VE PICKED UP ON THE JOB?

Professional presentation is everything. Always look and feel your best, but stay true to who you are—fresh, smart, and confident.

Wake up every day feeling grateful. Life is a gift, and no matter what it throws at you, try to focus on the positives.
