I’m a lot stronger than I ever thought I could be when I have had difficult situations.

HOW HAVE WOMEN’S ROLES IN REAL ESTATE CHANGED SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED?

It’s definitely better than it used to be, but we still have a long way to go. Women can absolutely stand alongside their male peers knowing they can achieve anything in this industry if they want it and do it professionally.

IT’S BEEN A CHALLENGING YEAR, ARE THERE ANY REAL ESTATE TIPS YOU COULD SHARE?

Hard work will always pay off. Use the phone and speak to people, meet people face to face and listen.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN?

It is a privilege to handle someone's largest asset, don’t take this for granted.

ANY REGRETS REGARDING YOUR CAREER?

No. Everything is a learning experience.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER WOMEN WANTING TO START A CAREER IN REAL ESTATE?

Get yourself a great mentor. Don’t expect to be everything overnight. Sometimes your boss is actually trying to assist you by moving through stages slower than you think you need to. Listen and listen again. Surround yourself with a group that you feel holds your values, morals and passion for real estate.
