WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT REAL ESTATE DURING YOUR CAREER?

This industry is full of surprises, and no two days are ever the same. It's taught me not to jump to conclusions – sometimes deals that seem dead can revive, and unexpected opportunities can appear when you least expect them. It’s all about staying open-minded and ready for anything.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT YOURSELF DURING YOUR CAREER?

Before real estate, I was quite sensitive and took things to heart. Working in this field has helped me build resilience and see setbacks as stepping stones towards success.

HOW HAVE WOMEN’S ROLES IN REAL ESTATE CHANGED SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED?

I’m lucky to work in a predominantly female-run office filled with inspiring and motivational women. This shift is happening more across the industry, and it’s empowering to see.

IT’S BEEN A CHALLENGING YEAR, ARE THERE ANY REAL ESTATE TIPS YOU COULD SHARE?

For buyers: Don’t wait for the "perfect" time – there’s no such thing. Take the time to understand the area you’re interested in, get familiar with the agents, and stay updated on recent sales to make confident, informed decisions when the right property comes up.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN?

Brady always says, “run your own race.” Comparing yourself to others only holds you back. This advice is valuable not just in real estate but in life – everyone has their own path, and focusing on yours will lead you to your personal goals.

ANY REGRETS REGARDING YOUR CAREER?

None. My journey in design brought me exactly where I am today, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experiences and knowledge I’ve gained along the way.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER WOMEN WANTING TO START A CAREER IN REAL ESTATE?

Don’t expect overnight success; patience is key. Also, you’ll need a thick skin – resilience is essential.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FASHION & BEAUTY TIPS YOU’VE LEARNT ON THE JOB?

A slicked-back hairstyle is my go-to under stress – it’s always polished and reliable. And having a capsule wardrobe with simple, mix-and-match pieces is a lifesaver!
