HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN REAL ESTATE?

Almost 5 years.

WHERE DID YOU START?

Home Estate Agents at reception.

IS IT YOUR DREAM JOB?

Yes, I love what I do and being able to assist everyone wherever I can.

BEST CAREER EXPERIENCE?

Being able to sell my grandparents’ home with Andrew Anastassiou, and selling it well above their expectations!

WORST CAREER EXPERIENCE?

I don’t think I can recall a bad experience.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT REAL ESTATE DURING YOUR CAREER?

To build relationships with everyone and earn their trust. Integrity, to always be honest and to work together as a team. If you have the passion and drive you will succeed in what you do.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT YOURSELF DURING YOUR CAREER?

That I am a hard worker and not afraid to work long hours. I am determined and I always strive to go the extra mile. I find that I am a bit of a perfectionist and I like to be super organised! I like working together as a team with all the agents and striving to get the best results for our clients.

HOW HAVE WOMEN’S ROLES IN REAL ESTATE CHANGED SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED?

There are definitely more women working in the industry which is great and more who are stepping out on their own.

IT’S BEEN A CHALLENGING YEAR, ARE THERE ANY REAL ESTATE TIPS YOU COULD SHARE?

Definitely being part of a team who care about each other and support one another. Our office is like one big family and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN?

Anything in life worth having comes from patience and hard work.

ANY REGRETS REGARDING YOUR CAREER?

No.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER WOMEN WANTING TO START A CAREER IN REAL ESTATE?

To be yourself and to give it a go. You will never know if you like something or not until you try it.

I know they are old clichés but you should never judge a book by its cover, and to treat people how you would like to be treated.
